IMPORTANT COVID-19 UPDATE

Dear BodyMind Community,

We are open and available for your chiropractic and nutritional health needs.

We are living in interesting times and we are grateful to be here with you and to be here for you. As health care providers, we are committed to being available to support you. At the clinic we are staying up-to-date with the CDC and local updates, and responding in real time. We are a small operation with a lot of control over the spread of germs in our space, and we invite you all to contribute to our efforts towards keeping it safe— not only by hand washing, but also by sharing any insights, suggestions or feedback about how we can keep our space and services safe for you. We greatly appreciate your input. Below is a list of what we are doing. Please let us know if you have anything to share. We will do what it takes to make it through this moment in time and we are profoundly grateful for your support and willingness to continue including our services in your wellness plan.

Our protocols include:

• Disinfecting tables between every use, and with frequency the door handles and all other surfaces that we touch.

• We are asking patients to wash or sanitize their hands upon arrival.

• For chiropractic and acupuncture treatments we will utilize hand-washing before and after entering the treatment room, disinfecting surfaces for each patient, and following mandated Clean Needle Technique protocols.

• Please do not come to the clinic if you show signs of fever or dry cough.

We are offering online/phone consultations! Please email your doctor, [email protected] or [email protected], to schedule. While being adjusted has proven to support the immune system, we also have recommendations on supplements that will support a healthy immune response. In support of social distancing, we can have supplements delivered directly to your home.

From the Medium article "Social Distancing: This Is Not A Snow Day”:

If you are sick, you should try to isolate yourself from the rest of your family within your residence as best as you can. If you have questions about whether you qualify or should get a coronavirus test, you can call your primary care team and/or consider your state’s department of health. Don’t just walk into an ambulatory clinic — call first so that they can give you the best advice — which might be to go to a drive-through testing center or a virtual visit on video or phone. Of course, if it is an emergency call 911.*

We appreciate your support of our small business in ways that are safe and manageable for you. This will pass and we can get through it together. If nothing else this virus is a reminder that we all are and always have been interconnected. Please reach out to us if there is any way you feel we can support YOU.

And let's look out for the most vulnerable people in our community. Share supplies, check-in on the elders and folks who are immune-compromised.

In health and happiness,

BodyMind Chiropractic Center
